I have talked about this before but now I finally cut the cord to the normal telephone lines. I was able to keep my DSL using what is known as a dry loop. This is just a quick way of saying I have Internet without a dial up phone line.
Now I am playing with the idea of using a Skype phone which is only $80.00. Then you sign up for a Skype out service for $3.00 a month for unlimited calls.
